If you think all the meet-ups regarding feedback from and to your supervisor are the same, we found a better option to keep in touch with your manager about your progress and the company's needs.
To keep in mind everything you want to mention to your manager, you have the option to wrote down every thought you have in Mirro. You will have to go to the module Performance- My check-ins. You will see the history of all the check-ins that you had (if you had any), and on top of the page you will see when the next check in with your supervisor it's due. This check-ins can be every two, three , four or six months apart, depending when they are settled up.
You can see that you have three separate tabs: Prepare, Share and discuss and Finalize.
Prepare section: in this section you will find relatable information that will help you prepare for completing the current check in, such as:
-the option to go to the current check in or to view the previous one, to see what goals you had to fulfill;
-you can see the kudos and feedback received in the past months, and see what did your colleagues had to say regarding your performance;
-you will also find the AI section, a very helpful tool that will:
*analyze the kudos and feedbacks received, telling you the overall sentiment and the general tone of voice, based on these information;
*tell you what you were most recognized for in the previous period of time;
*the values and business outcomes you showed the most;
Pretty cool, huh?
Share and discuss section: this section is where you will find the actual questions you will have to answer, in order to complete the performance check in.
Everything you write now can be later edited, and your manager will not see your notes until you choose to share them, by pressing Share on the page bottom.
Don't worry if you started writing your notes and you have to leave the page, the changes will be automatically saved.
Finalize section: After sharing your answers, your manager will receive a notification that will let them now it's their time to complete the performance check in. You will be redirected to the Finalize option, and you will be able to nudge your manager in case they forgot to complete it.
Please be advised that once you've shared your answers with your manager, you can't go back to complete them.
After both parts share their thoughts, usually a face-to-face or online meeting will take part where you and your manager will have the chance to discuss about the past period, based on your responses. At the end, the manager has the chance to write down the conclusions and to finalise the check-in.
After both perspectives had been shared, both you and your manager will be able to see the answers and the conclusions. You can come and read this performance check in anytime, by accessing the module Performance- My check ins.
