User journey in Mirro

Begin telling your performance story. The journey starts now. Access your profile and enjoy Mirro.

With Mirro, there is no surprise we like to do big things. What would you say if we tell you that we can change the way you perceive performance at work? Let us give this a couple of minutes to get on the same page.

It should be quite broken if we are to fix it, right? Raise a virtual hand if, thinking about performance reviews, these pop to mind:

Unfair | Time consuming | Biased | Out of context

Plot twist: we really did something about it. We are all about team journeys and how every member has a story to tell. In this story, you are the centerpiece.

Team journeys

Teams face change, new learnings, and adapt the way they do things as a group, day by day, project by project. This continuous brain rewiring is part of the team journey and we are for not losing any traces of it.

It is encouraged to interact with everyone in your company, as you can gain more praise and recognition. Don't be afraid to give Kudos or Feedback to your colleague, it can really put a smile on someone's face!

It is ok to ask for someone's perspective- Request feedback!

You are here for a reason. You have surely surprised your colleagues with a cool idea and spent extra time to solve that hard task. How important was a nudge in the right direction back then? That extra puff in your sails to be sure you are keeping course.

Mirro has your back, as always! You can ask for internal or external feedback from one or more users; you just have to be specific about which topic you would like the feedback on and add extra details, if you want to. Signed, sealed, sent.

Tell it as it is- give feedback!

Be the reason someone smiles today while doing their tasks. If you colleague helped you review that presentation, express your appreciation. Be open when giving feedback, keep it specific, use it to really help them.

For some eyes only: protected feedback will involve managers as well, for more impact, while private feedback will moderate stronger 1 to 1 relationship just between you and one colleague at the time.

Praise, it's satisfying- Give Kudos!

Call it a boost of confidence, or a well-deserved congrats. Call it praise, recognition, or the- single-most-important-thing-to-keep-someone-engaged. We call it Kudos!

Describe what did stand out to you. Because Kudos is open to the public, you would be doing everyone a favor. A good deed should be repeated. If you have an idea now but you don't know how to finish it, don't worry! The Kudos is automatically saved for you, and you can come back to edit, delete or publish it!
Make it more business-like. What effect will those actions have on our company?
Back to the beginning. Positive behaviours are associated with company values. Yes, those carefully selected values will now come to life.

Skills! Every skill, all the skills - game recognizes game: associate stand-out skills to some kudos for maximum impact!

What's the next step after recognising someone's value? Watching everyone else doing the same!

Change can happen with you, and by offering kudos to your teammates, you encourage them to do the same, and even to interact with the one offered by you! They can react to it, comment and share their thoughts.

Alligned to a common purpose

We are for transparency and a sense of shared purpose. Mirro works best in companies that focus on alignment, rather than control.

Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) is a match made in heaven for this purpose. Use objectives to describe the "what" of your common or individual activities. A good objective is:

- Significant - it is what makes the difference between an objective from a task - it will show you where you want to go. If your objective is to cross the street, you will get no further.

- Action-oriented - groups or individuals can align behind an objective and ideate on means to conquer the feat, on timing, on specific milestones that pave the road ahead.

- Inspiring - Objectives represent the directions that the company follows. The Zenith.

And should speak to all your people for them to join your journey.

Add key results to describe the steps you have to follow to get to the objective and to keep track of the progress. Key results help you when they are:

-  Specific - the right people for the job understand exactly if it is on them and how they can contribute

-  Time-bound - don't forget about the importance of following objectives - key results ensure a certain rhythm and remind people of the bigger picture

-  Realistic but aggressive - again, an OKR is not a task. A Key Result should be reachable, but the feeling of reaching it should not compare to a day to day

-  Measurable - numbers, percentages, growth factors, pin them down here, in key results.

This section was created to add depth to your performance snapshot. Achieving individual or shared goals results in continuous feedback. It is an excellent opportunity to elicit compliments or new perspectives. Follow the objectives and gain experience. For the first time, "how well we do things" and "how many things we do" go hand in hand. After all, wasn't this chapter about a common goal?

Your performance, unique perspectives, a safe heaven

Continuous interactions with people in your teams, such as kudos or perspectives, have been used to describe your performance story. You are committed to the goals of the company or team, and everyone is on the same page.
Mirro never misses a beat: it collects all of these interactions and automatically adds them to your performance review session.

A key figure, your mentor figure: You will share sessions with your performance managers. They will be able to see your answers when you have shared them and will be able to fill in their part of the story as you do.

Pro tip: we know how many amazing things you do. Keep track of them by adding highlights everytime you do something worth mentioning, and relax because all of them are auto-saved. All data is specifically addressed to you and your manager, as well as higher management, but none of your other colleagues will be able to see these reviews. Feel free to be open about things.

Evaluate your progress- Join the performance check in

We've created an easier process for your meeting with your manager regarding your achievements, based on a period of time. Do not hold back on the details: speak your mind about the good and less good things that impacted you this period of time!

Future plans serve as a way to communicate how you see yourself progressing in the future. Use every lesson learned to plan ahead and provide yourself the best chance of success over and over.

Don't be afraid to ask for support from your company and your manager. Feedback goes both ways, so, that being said, it is equally important to share your perspective on your manager's performance, as it is to receive their feedback from your point of view. You are in this together!

We also encourage you to speak your mind when it comes to your satisfaction level regarding your current role here, and if you have any inquires, don't keep it to yourself!

Review sum-up: Share your responses with your managers after company-driven check-in sessions, or as soon as you both see fit. Share each point of view, meet and talk things through, and your manager will make sure to summarize a review that tells the whole story.

Always keep an eye on the previous check-ins! It's the best way to keep track of your progress and to remind yourself how far you've come.

Always in touch with what's new

Let Mirro show you around. Doesn't matter if we're speaking of announcements, OKRs updates, kudos and feedback or birthday posts, you sure don't want to miss what's new in your company!

Notifications never let you miss an update related to you, and now you can even customise the way notifications work for you!

Celebrations are always a good idea, whether we are talking about a work anniversary - make people feel at home here, or about your colleague's birthday.

Congrats are in order sometimes - promotions are quite a big deal for all of us, showing that all those common efforts had a positive outcome.

Have you met all of your colleagues? Because we value true connections, we are here to show you your new colleagues, and give you the opportunity to be among the first to say hello!

Beyond the daily nitty-gritty

Hello, transparent workplace! Everyone needs a break from time to time and everyone else needs to know who is online or not. Leave calendars and remote work calendars are available in Mirro, giving all of us an overview.

Quite fun this calendar, huh? Let's make it funky and fill it up! Your dedicated leave section shows you every detail of your available leave balance and lets you book your next vacation period quickly. Approval flows are moderated by notifications, so managers will not miss it. Fingers crossed!

Working remotely is becoming more and more a part of the day-to-day. Whether you are on a delegation, you are working from home or from elsewhere, your company creates work away rules, so you can simply book some of these days. The approval flows are similar to those from vacations.

Since a few hours make all the difference, if your company decides it’s ok, you’d have an hours’ account in Mirro, allowing you for some flexibility when taking those cooking classes that no- one knows about! Just be sure to put in some extra hours some other day and keep your balance on the greens.

Streamlined time management on everything documents - Access your documents section to upload files necessary and check out company files that belong to you. You can always ask for documents, like employment certificates, notes or decisions, and admins will handle your requests.

Your data. Safely stored, neatly arranged. We are gathering all these data to help your company deal with authorities. It is not visible to everyone, just to designated HR specialists. Make sure that everything is accurate, and rest assured that everything is safely stored and encrypted on our servers.

And since we are zooming in on your profile, here is what really helps everyone else. Set a profile picture and add a short description of you - help your colleagues get to know you.

Interact with everyone you normally work with, even if not from your teams, and see how people can grow together. Everything is here, attached to your profile. Isn’t this the new resume?
