In advanced uses of OKRs, some companies want to be very specific about how important a Key Result is in the completion of the overall score of the Objective. You can use Mirro to increase alignment within your organization with clear objectives and key results.
If you want to add more objectives altogether, the easiest option for you is the OKRs import. Using this option, you can also update and delete OKRs.
Only the users with the access right OKRs manager can import, update and delete OKRs
What are the steps to import OKRs?
1. Go to the module Objectives- All OKRs;
2. Click on filters on the right of the page:
3. Click on Import OKRs- Download template;
Here you will find four sheets: Worksheet, Readme, Departments and Teams.
-worksheet: this is the sheet you will be working on; the purple fields are mandatory to be completed;
-readme: this section has the instructions for you to complete the worksheet as clean as possible;
-departments and teams: these two additional sheets are here to help you; in case you want to add a departament or teams objective, you can access one of these sheets, choose the name of the department/team and add its code on the column F- Objective Type Value in the worksheet;
How do I fill in the worksheet?
- column A - Objective Action: here you will have to write the action you would like to proceed: add, update or delete;
- column B- Objective ID: the objective ID is unique and must be provided when updating or deleting objectives; please leave this column blank when you add new objectives;
- column C- Objective Title: this is where you write the title of the objective; it has to be clear and concise;
- column D- Objective Description: the description of the objective should provide context and details;
- column E- Objective Type: here you can specify the type of the objective: organization, department, team or individual;
- column F- Objective Type Value: in case you want to add a departament or teams objective, you can access one of the sheets Departments or Teams, choose the name of the department/team and add its code on the column;
- column G- Objective Tags: you can add tags to an objective so it's easier to identify it; objective tags should be separated by commas; if a tag does not exist, it will be created and associated automatically;
- column H- Owner: Owner's external ID or email address must be valid and existing in the system;
- column I- Start Date: the start date for the objective, in the format year-month-day;
- column J- Deadline: the deadline for the objective, in the format year-month-day;
- column K- Visibility: you can set the objective as private or public; Private = 0 or Public = 1;
- column L- Status: the current status of the objective, such as active, finalized, or killed;
- column M- Contributors: the contributors' external IDs or emails, separated by commas if multiple;
- column N- KR Action: the key result action to be performed: add, update or delete;
- column O- KR ID: the key result ID is unique and must be provided when updating or deleting;
- column P- Key Result Title: the title of the key result;
- column Q- Key Result Description: the description of the key result;
- column R- KR Deadline: the deadline of the key result, in the format year-month-day;
- column S- Measurement Unit: the measurement unit for the key result;
- column T- KR Range Start Value: the starting value of the key result;
- column U- KR Range End Value: the target value of the key result;
- column V- KR Current Value: the current value of the key result;
- column W- KR Weight: the weight of the key result;
4. Save the file;
5. Go back in Mirro to the filters option and click on Import okrs:
6. Choose the file and click on Import;
How to export OKRs?
1. Access the module Objectives- All Okrs;
2. Click on filters on the right of the page;
3. You can use the filters so you can export only a part of the OKRs, or leave the filters blank and export all OKRs;
4. You will receive a notification that your export is ready;
What do I find in the export worksheet?
The export worksheet is quite similar to the import worksheet. You will find 4 sheets: Objectives, Departments, Teams and Readme.
-objectives: here you will find all the objectives that you've exported, with all their key results and updates on those key result;
-departments: you will find a list with with all the departments in your company and their ID; this is important because, in the first sheet, you will only find the department's ID and not the full name;
-teams: same as the departments, will find a list with with all the teams in your company and their ID;
