In this article you will find a clear overview of the steps needed to be followed in the app during the onboarding process to set-up the platform as an administrator.
1. Claim your account
You will receive an email sent by our sales team, email that will contain your credentials to claim your account.
The account that you'll receive has all the access rights that will help you set up all the information of your company.
2. Define your company settings
From the logo of your company to company values and company addresses, you can set up all the "basic" settings and information.
You can read more information about How to set-up your general company settings here.
3. Import users
Fill-in as many details as possible. We recommend taking your time at the beginning of the process to bring all the information into the platform, so you don't have to worry about it later!
Check our article How to import users details.
4. Get familiar with the access rights
Each time a user is added to the platform, they will receive basic access rights.
You can assign each user the correct access rights. Learn what each access right is doing by checking out our article on How to grant access rights to an user.
5. Check and define the Organisational Chart
There are two types of Organisational Charts:
-org chart for line management;
-org chart for the departments within your company;
Once you've already added users in Mirro, you can now set up the Organisational Chart of the users.
To create the Organisational Chart for the departments, you will have to define them first. You can find all the steps by reading our article How to define the departments in your company.
6. Import managers and coordinators
Imports are really fun when you have all the steps explained in a clear way. Check out our knowledge base article on How to import performance managers and time-off approvers.
7. Import contracts
There are two ways to import contracts:
-you can import only the current situation of the contracts;
-you can import the full history of the contracts.
If you import only the current situation of the contracts, and then decide that you would like to have the history of the contracts (e.g.: addendum, suspension, etc) you will need to process them manually.
Once you find out the best option for you, you can check the steps on How to import contract details.
8. Set up the leave balance for your colleagues
First we need to build up the balance by following the steps:
a) Define the leave rules according to your company’s leave policy- read more about it on How to define the leave rules;
b) If there are cases when a part of your colleagues receive more days of vacation - then check the article How to set-up individual leave rules;
c) Import carry-over days: this process refers to the leave balance situation at the end of the previous year- you can follow the steps from our article How to import carry over days;
Once the balances were built, we need to update them, by bringing them to the current situation. For that, you will have to perform an import of the time off requests. Find more about it on How to import leave requests.
9. Define the time frame between the check-ins
How often do you want the check-ins between employees and their managers to happen? Find the best time frame for your company and follow the steps from our article How to lead your people with performance check-ins.
10. Invite all users in the platform
Now that everything is set up, it's time to invite all users to enjoy what a great job you've done!
Access the module Organisation- Users Management option. You can either invite one user at a time, or choose the option bulk invite.
